The Fair of island products is traditionally held in Tkon during the year, during the Škraping event and in the summer months. The aim of the Fair is to encourage the development of island production, preservation of the island's tradition and autochthony, the encouragement for self-employment of the island population and their staying on the island and product branding through the prestigious "Croatian island product" label.

These products are produced in small series such as: extra virgin olive oil, various liqueurs, marmalades, soaps and cosmetic creams based on olive oil and herbs, souvenirs from shells and other various handcrafts.

The Fair of island products is a recognizable manifestation that enriches the offer of Tkon and island of Pašman. The goal is to offer visitors and guests original, island products and to encourage local production, job creation and self-employment.

Škraping Internationale Trekking Rennen > Insel Pasman > 7 Mär 2020

Škraping ist eine einzigartige internationale Trecker Rennen auf scharfe Insel-Felsen und es gehört zu den Extremsport Arten.
Es findet auf die Insel Pašman jedes Jahr im März.
Zu Beginn der Rennen Wettbewerber bekommen Karte der Insel zeigen die Prüfpunkte, die sie so bald wie möglich überwinden müssen.
Das Rennen wird in drei Kategorien unterteilt: Ultra-trail von ungefähr 47 km, leichte Rennen von ca. 25 km, Active von ca. 12 km und Light-von ca. 6 km.
Während des Rennens Konkurrenten übergeben Kontrollpunkte, trotz der attraktiven Standorten der Insel Pašman und Škraping, und auf diese Weise Škraping mit Sport nimmt auch den Charakter des Tourismus im Hinblick auf die Präsentation der Insel und der Förderung des kroatischen Tourismus als Ziel für einen aktiven Urlaub. Jedes Jahr diese Veranstaltung hat eine große Medieninteress.
Besucher und Athleten kommen aus benachbarten und anderen europäischen Ländern und damit indirekt fördern die Insel und Croatia. Die Besucher werden Hausmannskost, hochwertige Unterkunft und eine Vielzahl von Dienstleistungen angeboten. Das Endergebnis ist die Förderung von Sport und Tourismus-Förderung der Insel sowie die Bewertung der natürlichen und Kulturerbe.
Innerhalb der Škraping findet es auch Insel-Produkte Markt fördern die Entwicklung der Produktion und die Erhaltung des einheimischen Produkts der Insel.
Als Anerkennung für die Qualität des Projekts, Škraping ist der Inhaber der renommierten Marke "Kroatische Insel-Produkt".
Škraping ist geworden, um die Insel ein Fenster zur Welt und die Art und Weise, in der die Insel mit der Welt verbinden kann.

St. Grgur's Day – Town Požega's Day > 12 Mär 2020 > Požega

One of the most important city celebrations is certainly the City Day, which is celebrated on March 12 on Grgurevo. The people of Pozega three centuries regularly commemorate the historical date of March 12, 1688, the day when Fr Luka Ibrišimović liberated Pozega from the 150 year long Turkish occupation. On that day, the Sokolovac hill marks the famous battle of Sokolovac with cannon and gunfire, city guards from all over Croatia and abroad parade through the streets, all poured over a glass of good wine from Požega's winemakers.

IV. WineRi International Eno - Gastro Festival

WineRi is the only festival of its kind in the City of Rijeka, a city proclaimed the European Capital of Culture in 2020. This year the festival will be held on March 13 and 14 2020, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, right by the sea, on the location of the Karolina Riječka Pier, in an exclusive 500m2 large tent and it will exhibit more than 70 manufacturers.

For the last three years (since 2017) this Eno - gastro festival has been gathering in one place a respectable number of exhibitors who will offer their products to the tourist market of the City of Rijeka and Kvarner region.

The festival is primarily presented by winemakers, but also producers of brandy and liqueurs, prosciutto, dried meat products, cheese, olive oil and chocolate from the Kvarner region, the whole Republic of Croatia and neighboring countries.

Each year, the Festival is visited by, among other 50 accredited journalists who write about the festival and Rijeka in Croatia and neighboring countries, 100 accredited caterers, restaurateurs, hoteliers and merchants, and about 1000 visitors.

WineRi thus became a reason to come and stay in the city of Rijeka during the pre-season, which is an equally positive experience for businesses of the city of Rijeka as well as the guests of the festival, who during this quieter period can fully enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the city without large tourist crowds.

Trail race through the fascinanting sights of Park of the nature Telašćica in the Zadar archipelago, which begins and ends in Sali, tourist village on the coast of this island.

The fair of island crafted products and festivities are common and essential parts of this small community which you’ll be able to experience at the finish. If you didn’t know, festivities in Dugi Otok are well-known for its “kick” in good food, great donkey race, and live music till the morning.

Festival of Lights Zagreb > 18 Mär 2020 to 22 Mär 2020 > Zagreb

From March 20th till March 24th, the capital of Croatia will host the Festival of Lights Zagreb. With the support of the City of Zagreb and in organization by the Zagreb Tourist Board, the historic center will be illuminated with the cutting-edge lighting solutions based on very recent lighting technologies.

Festival of Lights Zagreb is the only festival of its kind in our city, and attractive audio-visual installations and projections will come to life at various locations of Upper Town. The theme of the festival is the spring that symbolizes the awakening, growth and renaissance, therefore each of the locations will try to evoke the springtime through light performances that will be held from 6 to 11 pm.

With the five-day festival, Zagreb will join the other world cities that have a tradition of holding such festivals, like Lyon, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Prague, St. Petersburg or Berlin. The intention is that the Festival of Lights Zagreb becomes a perennial tourist product with the aim of generating greater tourist traffic at this time of year.

National Fair of Prosciutto Ham and Dry-Cured Meat Products > 3 Apr 2020 to 4 Apr 2020 > Sinj

For nine years Sinj has been hosting the National Fair of Prosciutto Ham and Dry-Cured Meat Products with International Participation which is promoting a traditional way of producing dried meat products with the constant support of all associates, producers, croatian institutions and renowned experts.

In the last several years, National Fair of Prosciutto Ham and Dry-Cured Meat Products in Sinj gain international character due to participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Slovenia. Fair hosts around 70 producers and several thousand visitors each year. This showcase event presents prosciutto and other dried meat products, cheese, wine, olive oil and traditional handcrafts from rural parts of Dalmatia, Lika, Slavonia and croatian islands.

In the prosciutto ham quality evaluation part of the fair, renowned experts as members of the committee evaluate products based on Ordinance on Prosciutto Ham Quality Evaluation.

Besides promotion of large variety of traditional products, National Fair of Prosciutto Ham and Dry-Cured Meat Products in Sinj has educational character in the form of workshops where both producers and visitors can get information on the production and sales of dry-cured meat products, protection of original Croatian products and quality label, the introduction of standards, models of association, the market, trends, cooperation opportunities, stimulation and funding programmes of governmental and other institutions, etc.

Bicycle ride "Od Branimira do Branimira" Zadar-Nin-Zadar > 4 Apr 2020 > Nin

The traditional and most masive local bicycle tour in Croatia From Branimir to Branimir will be held on April 4th. This bike tour is 35 kilometers long and this years event marks the 12th year in a row symbolizing the link between the Branimir coast in Zadar and Nin. Professionals, amateurs, tourists and families with children are all welcome to participate. The bicycle tour is part of the Zero Waste Blue project, and will use methods without the adverse environmental impact during the bicycle tour.

The organizers are: Zadar County and the Town of Nin, and the co - organizers of the PU Zadar, Department of public health, the Tourist Board of the Town of Nin, the Bicycle Club Zadar and Sports academy of the University of Zadar.

The personal guard of Count Keglević, the owner of the Kostel-grad, was watching Christ's grave during the Easter night and fired the holsters on the Easter morning to celebrate his resurrection. This custom is 500 years old and today has the status of the intangible cultural heritage of Republic Croatia, and has spread all over Croatia and abroad.
