Construction works on the Prokop railway station will again begin. The general director of the Cypriot company Trigrant Development Corporation, Tod Kraun, and the director of Serbian Railways, Milanko Šarančić, have today signed an agreement which designates the necessary conditions required for the continuation of works on the construction of the Prokop railway station.
The project proposes the completion of the railway stations, which will be invested in by the Cypriot company, and in return the company will gain the rights to building up to 180000 square metres of space above the railway station. The total investment is worth approximately 150 to 200 million Euros, along with the creating of a large number of jobs for workers in Serbia. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.

Generalni direktor kiparske kompanije Trigranit development korporejšn Tod Kraun i direktor Javnog preduzeća Železnice Srbije Milanko Šarančić potpisali su danas opšti ugovor koji određuje uslove za početak, odnosno nastavak, izgradnje železničke stanice Prokop-Beograd.
Projekat predviđa završetak izgradnje železničke stanice, koji će investirati kiparska firma, u zamenu za 180.000 kvadratnih metara prostora, rekao je Kraun. Ukupna investicija vredna je između 150 i 200 miliona evra, uz stvaranje radnih mesta za veliki broj radnika iz Srbije, a završetak izgradnje se očekuje do kraja 2008, rekao je Kraun.

The construction of a hotel in New Belgrade near the Belgrade Arena isbeing financed by a Greek company and is set to to completed in August 2005. The value of this investment is 12 million Euros and is being construction by Napred. The hotel will have 201 rooms, two restaurants, a glass garden with a dessert bar, three conference halls, and underground parking garage for 100 cars. The rating of the hotel will be four stars, satisfying superior Western standards.
The president of the managing board of New Belgrade has announced that construction of a second hotel in New Beglrade should start as well, with the contractor being Energoprojekt.

In New Belgrade, a presentation was held regarding a new recereational water park that has just started to be constructed in Blok 44. Serbia's famous basketball player Zarko Paspalj has announced this future attraction as his investment along with the company, Genel, from Novi Sad.
People in Belgrade will soon have the opportunity to enjoy at the water park, which have up until now only been present elsewhere. This kind of investment is important not just for New Belgrade, but for the entire city. The construction of this water park will enrich the lives of people in Belgrade.
Currently works in Blok 44 are concerning preparing the land for construction, and the park should be completed by May 25th, 2006. The project for the water park was done by Atelje Dušan Tešic' (ATD) and Polin from Turkey. The park will stretch across five hectares of land, where there will be 11 pools and 21 slides. These will be constructed in the first phase due to be completed by 2006.

The Belgrade city government has announced a public announcement for the collection of offers by way of competition for the completion of an ideal project for the bridge over the Sava river at Ada Ciganlija. This bridge represents the most important element of the future Belgrade traffic network, which is the inner half-ring road which stretches from New Belgrade to the Pancevo bridge.
The competition also seeks to obtain the completion of a feasibility study, study of its effect on living standards, and the strategy for the part of the inner half-ring road from ul. Omladinskih Brigada to ul. Paštroviceva.
